Hamilton's Agriculture and Science Class

Welcome,

I am Mr. Hamilton and I am an agriculture and science teacher at Vista Height Middle School in Saratoga Springs Utah. I am not a traditional teacher as in I came from industry. I worked for two years at Dugway proving Grounds in Western Utah as a Wildlife biologist before deciding to become a teacher. I take an approach to science and agriculture that is more hands on and I help students understand that thinking critically like a scientist is more important then memorizing a bunch of facts (though there is some of this that is needed).

I am also a FFA adviser for the Westlake FFA. We participate with the high school on trips and competitions. I apologize ahead of time that I am gone monthly with some students to these trips and competitions. These are great opportunities for students to apply what they have learned in the classroom.
